60x77x48 acrylic, acrylic mediums, Dr. Ph. Martin’s ink, Jacquard textile paint on canvas,

I served 10 years (technically 9yrs 11mths and 19 days) active in the US Navy. My first ship was the USS Mount Baker AE-34. My second ship was the USS John F. Kennedy CV-67. When we were out to sea, the waves would change our perception of the horizon. Sometimes when the sun was setting, the combination of the beautiful yellows and reflections on the ocean created these amazing lines and triangles that moved as the ship sashayed through the waves.

This piece evokes those movements and angles. It can be hung in many different ways to create different looks/horizons.
